The economy of South Africa, but especially in the Garden Route is growing fast. Economists and business leaders expect a growth of 4% for the coming years. Interest is at a relatively low point and an increase of 12-15% on house prices is expected for the coming 5 years.

There is a big influx of people in the Garden route as more and more wealthy South Africans turn their back to the life in the big cities and choose to move to a more tranquil and safe environment with good business opportunities.

Infrastructure on the Garden route is excellent with a road network comparable to the European highways and an Airport in George.

The center of the Garden Route is George, halfway situated between Cape town and Port Elizabeth. Here you will find all the modern facilities with excellent hospitals, private clinics, schools, shopping centers and conference centers. George has 150.000 inhabitants and is one of the fastest growing towns of the Southern Cape. It is also known for it's majestic Golf courses such as Fancourt, a luxurious international Golf-estate.
